I have not considered Friday 13th unlucky for me since Friday August 13th, 2004 when Hurricane Charley was on a collision course with Tampa Bay and suddenly made a sharp right hand turn and missed us entirely.

I don't know if there was a full moon or it was the combination of Friday the 13th or what but my district was STUPID busy last night. Accidents, fires, shootings, assaults, family troubles, etc. etc. etc.

I don't wanna think our society is circling the crapper but if the people I have dealt with in my first six months on the street are any indication then we're, as a nation, totally and royally fucked!
